The Renewable Energy Roadshow

PLEASE NOTE!

The Renewable Energy Roadshow has come to the end of its funding for the moment.
This means we are currently unavailable for bookings.
However, you can download all our resources
here to use in your school.

We hope to be 'back on the road' soon!

We deliver a refreshing educational experience on the science and technology of renewable energy and climate change to audiences in Edinburgh and beyond.

We are available for both primary and secondary schools, science festivals, youth groups, community events and trade exhibitions. There is NO CHARGE for schools.

The Roadshow can include the 'Powerpod' - a purpose built mobile trailer fitted with solar panels, photovoltaics and its own wind turbine. These sources of green energy can be used to demonstrate the charging of mobile phones, i-pods and making milkshakes.

For smaller events we can bring the 'MiniPod' - a fun table-top version of the Powerpod that includes solar panels, a solar water heater and hand-driven electricity generators.

All activities are presented in a fun and educational format.
