Some comments we have received

“It was all we had hoped for and more.”
Fiona Lough, teacher at Gracemount High School, Edinburgh

“The enthusiasm of all concerned is wonderful.”
Andrew Cook, Cramond Eco Club, Edinburgh

“Thank you so very much for the great workshops. You guys balanced the ‘school’ with the relaxed just perfectly and all the kids really enjoyed themselves.”
Sally Scott, Parent organiser with Home Education group, Nairn

“[You] did a fantastic job and many of the pupils have talked about their experiments all week! Some of our pupils have been so animated when they talk about the roadshow - their teachers have commented that some of the pupils who are perhaps less inclined to do written work have loved being able to do ‘hands on’ things and have learned so much from that. Over 70% of them said that they now realised that they could make a difference by doing things in their own lives. It's now up to them to prove it.”
Joanne Harvey, teacher at Dumbarton Academy

The Renewable Energy Roadshow is a unique collaborative network comprising Edinburgh Woodcraft Folk; School of Chemistry, Edinburgh University; School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh; and School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Heriot-Watt University.

The Renewable Energy Roadshow is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council through their Public Engagment programme.
